I just purchased an 88se 1 owner beautiful 90,000 miles
engine had bad apex seals and side seals.Ipurchased a runnig engine from an 87 with perfect compression and clean oil in it.Heres the problem.I left the wiring harness on the new engine untouched,And plugged it into my computer.Got spark.fuelpump works.Got fuel to the rail.but cant here any injector pulse.the only thing i can think is ineed the 87 ecu.HHHEEELLLPPP.

I saw a similar post recently. Do a search on "carb" in this section and you should see it.

i believe the 88 is high the question is, is the 87 high or low??

i'm guessing that the 87 is low and the injectors should be swapped or maybe the ecu depending on how much electrical stuff from the 87 is being used....

Definitely sounds like your not getting fuel. Swap the old injectors in and see what happens.
