Unhappy Only half my engine is running right

I have an 87 gxl 5 speed and it seems like only half my engine is running. I cant go any faster than 20 mph or the engine car vibrates violently. heres the senario....my car wouldnt start...i did the EGI fuse thing...car started but ran crappy. I got new spark plugs and spark plug wires thinking it was that. started car still the same thing. I checked engine compression....both engine compartments have good compression. Im thinking its the fuel injectors, but i havent had the time to check them yet. If anyone has any clue what i should do leave a post. Thanks.

If your compression is good I don't see whats wrong. Samething happening to mine but one rotor is shot.

I get huge backfires if I take it past 2nd gear. Plus it will die out in the middle of traffic.
