CUPHOLDER, I will be making one soon where the security light and power mirror switch are.

S4 Wastegate & Flapper door. WEAK! Why couldn't they have made that SOB bigger. Boostcreep sucks a fat one. What actually sucks more is looking over at the boost gauge every time you floor it to make sure nothing is going to explode.

The crappy quality of the plastic parts, the little electrical bugs, and who can forget the full red/burgandy interior options. Yuck!

I hate that no one else makes quality parts. Always have to be the expensive OEM parts. Never use Kragen or Kragen likes parts. Always buy OEM cause they work right and they will last a year longer for 5 times the price. Oh and then we have to waite 5 to 10 working days because they are special order parts only. And the parts guy...

Gotta luv the 7

Most of you guys are compaining about stuff that would go away with proper maintenance or by removing mods. IE: Crappy idle, smoke, noise, gauges, etc.

I have to agree with the cup holder. And the automatic seatbelts were a really bad idea. But at least Mazda did not put the automatic seatbelts IN the doors like GM did with some of their late 80's early 90's model cars.

One of my complaints are the double Catalytic converters. Thumbs up on complicating a system that would of worked much better with just one!

And I HATE the glair in the windshield from the dash when the sun is shining on it. With just a bit of though the dash could of been designed so it does not do this.

I have no glare from the dash since I have a dash cover.

i agree with the cup holder. i have one of the holders that latches on where the window is - unfortunately, i roll down the window a lot, and every time i roll it back up it pops the holder out.

and the shitty factory radio. that's no good.

finding an honest mechanic who knows rotaries has been such a pain.

i wish my car didn't have such a crappy paint job - but it can't be factory, so that's not mazda's fault.

besides that, i love the car.

lack of respect from other car owners even after i wax those late 90's model american cars.

i wish the tii came with a fmic them mazda could have figured out what to do with the heating and battery in the way.

-cup holder would be nice, but not a big peve of mine.
-sun roof works so no complaint
-haltech and ser5 hybrid fixed the ecu and boost creep problems
-went single exhaust, but do hate the little opening on the right side now

Electrical system. The seat belt warning light keeps coming on, and the alternator isn't strong enough at idle.

First thing that comes to mind is the black molding on s4 models...Man i think thats the worst thing in the world to do to a car. Cant wait to get a new paint job. Other than that nothing much i mean i cant understand why plp dont like the sunroof. I love to have it opened and cruise down the highway at 100mph. Nothin like it.

Oh and lets try to make sure no one from OTHER forums see this thread it would be kinda bad...

I don't think we hate sunroofs. Only hate them when they get jammed or stop working.

Personally, I like using the sunroof too.

I can name a few things

(1989 Turbo II)

#1 I wish my car didn't have 300,000 kms (186,414 miles) because it makes a couple of very annoying little rattling noises....

#2 I wish my wheelbase was 3" wider on either side for improved handling...its current handling just doesn't cut it...

#3 I wish it had a cup holder so that I could place my drink down, or even HAVE a drink in the car...

you can fit 2 back there dude. as far as cupholders, i got this cheap thing at target for 99 cents that hooks perfectly onto the armrest handle thing, not the big handle part, but the little indent, nah'mean?

Hmm...expensive body kits/spoilers. Gas mileage could be better, but I do see 17+ city. Oh and my lazy *** driver's side headlight

1. The interior is very delicate and very easy to break.
2. The alternator barely puts out enough power to charge a stock car, forget about adding a tiny sub.
3. The stock s4 wheels not only look like crap, but 16 x 7....come on it's a sports car at least give us 8''
4. IC location, the starion was made at the same time as the FC and it has a fmic I don't care what excuses mazda gives me.
