Not only that, but the boost respones is amazing considering it (my car) is 17 years old. Spool up is low as well as pressure drop with the stock IC setup.

I like it the more I research other "custom" IC options. I don't think I will change it till I upgrade the turbo.

Hell yeah kid, that top mount IC is one of the most destinctive features of FC's. One of the BEST features FC's have is the TII hood. I wouldent change it for anything...cept now that im going way past my stock boost level

I'm not a fan of the cheesy interior, but it's growing on me... could've been worse being 80s 'n all though.

It kinda pssied me off when it blew up to, oh well an excuse for a port and dowell...

Have you drove one? I mean really DROVE one, after I did, I coudn't get enough. most of these problems are going to occur with any sports car of that age, especially one with a turbo. I hate to see someone get discouraged about a TII.

Amen to that, and all the other crap load of warnings the car decideds to create, um.... more power.... and believe me when I say this, I love mazda and all, but they can not design a interior for there life. Although I wouldn't expect too much from anything ford puts their fingers into, but honestly mazda should just let nissan or toyota do their interior design.

a few comments:

1. the RX7 gen 2 tecnically has cup holders, not very good ones, but it does (pull down your glove compartment, see those two circles! :oD all I can say is that I've used them as cup holders... while going in a straight line, on a very smooth surface) Which goes back to my bitching about mazda's lack of interior decor.

2. That mazda would stop cutting the american market of rotary powered cars. (rx7 96+)

3. Discontinue the RX8 and bring the RX7 gen 4 into the good old us of a

I'm done

On the topic of strippers.

The strippers that came with the car would be kind of old by now, so Mazda should give us new strippers every 2 - 3 years or so. Who is with me?

if they looked like Demi Moore, I wouldn't care if they were forty. : D

although I do tend to get tired of looking at the same girl for too long, I second the 2-3 yr stripper switch. but I wouldn't mind if they through Demi Moore in there.

i disklike the fact that I cant drive it because mass state troopers and umass cops above all suck and drove my insurance rates sky high. So it sits in my garage with a flat right rear tire and 1/16th of a tank of gas...rusting. At least it wont have to put up with salt this winter.

But damn! in spite of all the GODDAMN problems with my car, i still miss the hell out of it. No other car compares. I have to drive my roommates taurus, and i cant go 80 on a very curvy onramp with that! It can't stop nearly fast enough! And the acceleration makes me want to cry!

RX-7, come back to me!

Gearing options. I wish for a tall first and 2nd and third are closer, or a low first three gears, or having 4.3 as an option with a tall fifth gear. My GTU red line in second gear at 78 mph, there is no need for that but I do like 24mpg in fifth on hiway. I had a RX3 with SP five speed man it felt like a VW GTI, 3rd picked up perfectly where 2nd left off. (perhaps an option with 4.3 or 4.6 paired with four lug SE's 0.69 fifth gear, that would have been off the shelf parts.) I think GTUs should have came with 4.8.
