You should do a dyno of before and after to see if you get the same numbers as Mazdatrix.

haha if i would have done a dyno before it would have been all messed up. the injectors needed cleaning and it had a huge problem getting over 4K rpm's. so basically i did everything but a rebuild to this engine.--even if i still need to replace i'm fine. i picked up the 87 n/a for 800 bucks. :-D i know that guy had no idea what he had.

anyway i'm about half done today with the work on her and have taken quite a few pics so i will post them up tomorrow. and things in peticular you'd like for the pics? sorry i don't have a girlfriend to put in the pics and if i did she'd prolly not be that hot anyway. :-)

well guys i'll talk to ya later i gotta bail and head to work.

nice pics! Can you run this header while still using the ACV? Also any pics underneath the car? Can't wait to hear your driving impressions!

It looks very good! Congrats!

I do have one question, how much does that thing weigh? Honestly, it looks very heavy. That exhaust will probably outlast your car, but does the power increase justify the weight gain? Just curious?

Not be rude or anything, but after reading the rest of your web page and looking at the pictures, it makes it look like you and your friend are gay. But maybe its just me...

haha thanks for the gay/flamer comment. that was like 3 years ago. i think i shal delete that page. but the pics of more of the install will be up tomorrow when i finish. i think the complete system weighs about 100 lbs or so. i'm not for sure but it's heavy as hell in seperate pieces. and i hear the gains are sweet so i'll let you know tomorrow when she's running-fast :-)

Thicker walls on exhaust gives you a better sounding and longer lasting exhaust!

I got Her running today :-) well about an hour ago. she has an awesome exhaust note. low buzz the video on mazdatrix dosen't even do it justice :-) HAHAHA MY CAR IS A LITTLE FAsTER NOW!
:-) I will drive her tomorrow. i didn't have enough gas to make it to the gas station so i will be doing that chore tomrrow. And DAMMIT i forget you are NOT supposed to open radiator cap when it's still hot. :-D i'm such an amatuer. but i might have a slight idle problem. i will fix that tomorrow though.

Matt.

P.S. i am glad i found my car for only 800 bucks :-D
