one rotor low RPM's...
ok, the car is a 89 gtu with a s-5 turbo engine, stock ecu, all the stock stuff.
The problem is if I go below say 900 rpms, it drops off to 1 rotor, idle drops to nearly 0, engine tone changes, and the response and power is gone.
but I rev it up to 1000 and it comes right back to life. Anyone have an idea?
Weak apex seal spring maybe?

i checked vac leaks and new cables and 4 trailings are on it. new oil etc. i just done a engine swap everything is pretty much new. but the biggest reason i think one rotor is shutting down is because it loses all power. takes 3 seconds to get from 400 rpms to 1000, then only a second from 1000 to 4000.

its sorta hard to start at odd times. not when cold not when hot. just random in between. i should check ignition i thought about that. i donno it's dark outside now ill **** with it tomorrow some. thanks for the info
well it could also be fuel, suppose and injector was stuck open. the engine might run OK at higher rpm's and flood out at low rpm cause it could not keep up with how much fuel is getting dumped it.
edit: just a guess thoug^
also a leaking injector could cause flooding and make it hard to start because all the fuel from the system leaks into the engine when u turn it off.
