Which one to keep, the TII or the R2

I decided to sell one of my cars. I have the 95R2 in the for sale section, but I'm not sure if that's the one that I want to get rid of. I love both of my cars, but I've had the 89 since 97, and I've redone the whole car. It's a project, that's all I can say. I love it, but the 95 is awsome too. Please help me decide.

Ive got an idea. U sell me either of them for dirt cheap and ill let u drive it any time u want. But seriously I would have to part with the TII. But if youve completely redone it that might be a different story. Hard choice

I would keep them both. I wouldn't be able to sell them.

Why the sell? Wife, insurance, parking space? As far as which to sell, like the others, its a hard call. From the economist in me, which car gives you the most fun and value, then deduct any negatives (fuel economy, chance of something breaking, insurance costs for each, etc.) and which ever car still gives you more satisfaction minus all the distractions is the one to keep. Alot of its mental since you can't put a price on time spent on it, etc, but its aleast a framework to help make the decision.

93 FD - 334 RWHP
91 FC - not sure, but has mods
89 TII - 231 RWHP

I'd sell the TII since I've had it less, put less time, money, sweat, blood into it, have less emotional attachement with it compared to the other 2.

Well I love all RX7s, however I think you'll make more $$$ if you sell the T2; and if you ever decide to have another one, a T2 would be less expensive to acquire than a 3rd gen.

I really wish you could keep both AND get a 1st gen at the same time!!

Just my opinion,

Elio

Sell the TII, but take your time to find the right buyer & get the most for it.

I say sell the FD. You should get alot more from it. I take it you put alot more $$ into the TII, and you would get alot less money for it. Then you use the money to do anything you want to to the TII ::cough(RE Amemiya front end)::

Damn....you guys are making it hard on a guy. I love both of them too, but I want to buy a house, so I need to sell one. Man, I was thinking that you guys would say to sell the R2, but I was wrong.

Nope I am more realistic than that!!

Know answer me this question: Which car has been into the mechanic (or fixed) more often? The T2 or thre R2?

ditch the fd, fd's are not very hard to find. there are tons of low miles fd's out there there are like 2 on e bay all the time. finding another 89 t2 will require travelling, and then it wont be yours. why to you have to buy a house now? why dont you save your money for another year, and keep both cars?

Another good point. To find another S5 TII that has low miles and is in good shape will require a good deal of work. S5 TIIs are very rare. So is the 95 R2 though. Still gotta say you said you put alot of work in the TII so I would keep it. Thats me though.

whichever you could make more money off of i would sell, not which you would get more from, who cares how much time you have in a car as long as you get what you think its worth...i would rather have an R2 personally over any FC including soul assasin...because you can always find some blown T2 and spend no money to make it real nice..

Well selling the FD would get you more bang for your house buying buck. But where I live you would have to sell 15 FD's to get a good start on a decent house. I just don't think selling either one is worth it for a house. Like someone else said ... save up. In one years time you can save what you would have sold the FD for & you will still have both cars.

Hell, sell the wifes car, stop buying the kids clothes, eat Top Ramen for lunch & dinner, Look for another job. ..... just don't sell the RX's
