Question One headlight works, one doesn't?

So I was fooling around with my air direction thingy that directs air from the front facia to the brakes on the driver side.. It's also the piece that surrounds the manual headlight retractor/raiser. Anyways, It was getting rubbed by my tire, so I was messing around with it, and I disconnected the bar that connects the motor to the actual headlight bucket. So I finish screwin' around, reconnect the bar, and connect the battery and the light flips down right off the bat. So i go in the car, and flip the switch. no pop up. Light illuminates and all, but doesn't pop up. Passanger side pops up fine. So I figure that the manual *** was turned too far, and that it's now opposite of the other headlight. So I fooled around some more with that, and can't get it. I've had this problem before, but I can't remember how I fixed it! I've searched and searched too and no other posts talk about it. Ideas? I know once someone mentions how to fix it I'm gonna say "OH YEAH!!! I rememeber!!" Thanks in advance guys.

First, thanks for the help Hailers. Second, the headlight is getting power. and I know I just flipped something wrong. This is my second time having the problem, I just don't recall the resolution, but I'm 100% positive it wasn't electrical. It's where I have something in backwards of some sort. Thanks again anyways.

Unplug the motor on the working one and have someone else flip the switch to see if you hear the motor on the one that won't go up. Then you'll at least be able to tell if it's mechanical or electrical.

I'd still pull the plug off the retract motor and see if you get 12v on the RED/BLUE wire when the switch is to UP and 12v on the RED/YELLOW wire when the switch is to dowm. And a constant 12v on the WHITE/GREEN WIRE. And a good ground on the BLACK wire. Maybe its just not connected up good.

I had a similar problem in my drivers side motor. I was getting power to the motor cause I could hear it clicking trying to get all the way up (mine was stuck half way up). As it turned out the motor was siezed and stuck half way, so I had to replace it. Does your manual **** even turn? If not it may have seized the motor. Just a thought.
