One headlight issue
One headlight issue
The passenger side headlight refuses to work. It'll turn on when I switch to brights however. I've changed the bulbs, but I'm stumped as to what else to check.
It worked at one time. I figured it out however. A head light is connected to 3 wires through a connector. Apparently, brights can work with 2 wires connected and 1 wire not connected or at least not very well. I had a gut feeling the connector was shot and took some spare wires and connected it directly to the bulb bypassing the connector. Bulb turned on right away, I'll cut away the connector and replace it this weekend since it's dark, but at least I can take it for drive and not worry about getting pulled over all the damn time because a headlight is out.
told ya it was a marmoset.... while your'e at it you'd better check the flux capacitors too....those bastards will chew right through 20mil plastic to get to those power converters!
