One headlight brighter than the other...

My left headlight is brighter than my right headlight. Is this a bulb problem in the right headlight housing, or an electrical/wiring problem with the car? I'm getting an H4 conversion with 7000K bulbs later this week, but if that doesn't solve it, what would it be? Thanks in advance.

Check your grounds on the dim side. Also look through the archives in the 2nd Gen list. There is an excellent thread on electrical grounding. This causes more problems than just about anything else.

Eliminate the lights first...
Swap your lights left to right, right to left.
Did the problem switch sides?
If it did, replace the headlamp(s).

Both lights use the same ground.

Almost definitely a bulb problem. Do what Ted suggested to confirm it, or just throw the H4's in.
