OMP and premix??
Hey guys I just rememebred an old thread mentioning that while leaning out a n/a give it more power and fuel economy it can damage housings since extra fuel is used to lubricate at higher rpms. Would using premix in addition to the stock OMP help with this problem?
This is mostly hypothetical for me as Im not gonna be n/a much longer but im still curious.
AH, the things i think about when im supposed to be working

It should be good enough. You can check the output of the omp easily. You take off one of the lines on the omp and measure the output of the pump with the engien at 2000 rpm and the lever fully in the up position.
Personally what I do is take a piece of small engine fuel line and connect it to a spare banjo fitting. Then I attach that line to where one of the four lines go on the pump. The line is approx four feet long and I rest it on the fender. Start the engine and crack the throttle to 2000 rpm while holding the rod full upwards and wait five full minutes. Shut down.
Prior to this I got a cheap measuring cup from the drug store. Measures in CC's. Filled it up to 6.6 cc's of water then sucked it up thru the fuel line mentioned above. Then made a mark where 6.6 cc's of water reached in the clear fuel tube.
So, after five minutes you should expect the oil to have reached the 6.6 cc mark. A non turbo is fewer cc's.
All four lines have the same requirement. Mabe I'll attach a jpg tomorrow.
Download the online and free fsm and just download the LUBRICATION section to see how to do the above.
