OMP Block-Off Plate

I bought one(OMP BOP) K2rd Installed it and it isn't flush at the top. There is a little opening. Will this make oil spew forth from it or is it no big deal. BTW I did by the right one, no mistakes there. Thanks, in advance.

How big is this hole. Can it be properly sealed with gasket maker?

No not really because the hole shows a small recess in the area where the omp goes, however I was thinking that since the plate is on where the oil actually comes so tightly that it will not make any difference, anyone have any other comments, suggestions? Maybe when I start it up nothing will happen...
