Have you checked that master cylinder? Maybe it was defective, I had the same problem and found mine was shot to hell. Or maybe its the brake booster.

Also, make sure you bleed the system really good...air bubbles can cause that too...

If you press the pedal right to the floor... this will push the master cylinder piston right to the end of the casing and therefore the little rubber seal on the end will pop backwards creating an internal leak.
When you bleed your brakes, you should NEVER press the pedal to the floor. Good practice is to put a peice of 2X4 under the pedal to prevent damage to the master cylinder.
You might be able to take it apart and flip it back the right way using the fsm (never seen anyone repair one after this has happened)... or you can return it and say its defective and get a new one.

Hope your bad luck has bled itself out.

^ That happend to me but then i replaced it and it works fine now. I now just press the pedal lightly till i get near the floor.

when i bleed brakes. I take a small bottle and put some brake fluid in it and take a hose from the bleeder valve and put it in the bottle with the fluid. now i can go in the car and pump the brake pedal to get the air out. This is easier and faster then having to 2 people doing it. Just keep in mind that the fluid in the resivour will drain quick. so keep topping it off.

I would also recommend buying a vacuum bleeder or making a pressure bleeder (yes, you can buy pressure bleeders, but for twice what it costs to make it yourself). Either of these methods are easier, can be done effectively by only one person, and help ensure a better bleed in my opinion.

This way you can also eliminate the possibility that the brakes just weren't properly bled.

I think its a matter of bleeding the brakes properly.

drivers side front
passenger side front
drivers side rear

That's backwards. You start with the one that is the farthest.

There are two bleeders on each rear. Bleed the bottom one first.
