Question OMG, i can see my flywheel!!!

Ok, so the motor is all put together with the tranny, and i've been driving it for a few thousand miles...

It seems that some plate or some part is missing because I can actually see the edge of the flywheel where the engine and tranny mate, on the upper driver's side.

Any help? Is this gonna be bad for the tranny/motor? Would this explain the absoluter horrible bite of my clutch?

Thanks,

Jahan

Got a picture?
Edit: The only thing I can think of is that the bolts between the engine and tranny are loose.

yeah, there's supposed to be a plate covering that hole, though I'm sure the car drives the same whether it's there or not...

Yup there's an inspection plate that bolts down over that hole. $7 shipped and you can have one, too.

Oh, I didn't realize that actually covered a hole of any size. Guess you learn something every day.
