OLD timeslips....

Just thought I'd post some old timeslips of my N/A setup...
This is before my S-AFC, and I had a crappy exhaust (but at least straightthrough) and it was HOT out.. heat soak was insane, we were waiting 20 minutes between runs and it was 90 out! I could feel the engine revving slowly even in neutral.
EVERYONE was running slowly.. most performace cars were in the 15-16's- Even modded Camaros and Mustangs.

I'm car 180 (circled), but they messed up on one and got me in the wrong lane.. hence the pen-correction.

Launching was bad... the track had great traction, and I just kept bogging in 1st. 3rd gear was always hard to get into too.. that probably cost me .25 sec each run.

Curious how my fastest MPH was on my slowest run???
And check out that .554 RT!!
Any input on 60" times, etc? This was on used goodyear 225's.. street tires of course.
There is no 330" for the right lane because somebody on a bike bailed and took out the sensor! (He was fine BTW)
This is also the time I saw Aaron Cake out with his "Tina" for the first time... boosting 2 psi and running 17 sec et's with a clogged cat.

With a slower launch you have more time to accelerate to a higher MPH. With a hard launch you have less time/track to accelerate to a higher MPH.

And I agree, the 60s need to get lowered. You could probably break into the 14s.

60 foot times are "ALRIGHT" not great, 2.0 is great for street car, the 2.2 60 foot is good though, too bad it was too hot.

15 sec, thats a T2 stock. I think you can better, 12PSI! man you should be closer to the 13 sec mark. And with the extra modifications you got, 13.5 is possible maybe even 13.00s. but i'm not too sure.

90 MPH is like good 14 sec, if you practice on your driving i think you can get a bit more like your 94 MPH, where are you shifting? usually non-street port motor shifting at 6500 is best, since your ported and if you are using stock TURBO you should watch your boost gauge, when efficiency drops that's where you got to remember to shift before that!

with everything is should be a little more than 180+ hp (94MPH is ~180hp) while ~210hp should be in 100's mph which is 13 sec runs.

Oh, this was back when my car was totally N/A!!! I didn't even have the S-AFC yet (big power gain!!!)

I know I'm in 13's for SURE with my turbo, it was crazy!(untill it blew from lack of fuel...)

Thanks for the input!
