old school racing beat exhaust

how good is this exhaust. i have a chance to buy whole turbo back for 400, is it worth it? for the old school one

old, used exhaust for 400, it better be in perfect condition, and i mean still shiney and clean with good working mufflers.

uhh... i think 300 would be fair... considering the age and possible ocndition of exhaust

remember, pipes are most likely rusted by now

Is there any way to protect the piping from rust, like with some kind of spray? how about powdercoating?

powdercoatig yes ,but its going to chip off over time.... ceramic coating would be a good Idea

Is that to say that the new polished RB exhaust will rust over time? I thought It was stainless steele.

Powdercoating would not withstand the heat of the exhaust.

I remade the piping on my car (3"->2.5" dual) and reused the old school RS*R RB mufflers that came on the car. Probably one of the cleanest sounding rotary exhaust notes I've heard, and quiet, too! Well, I also popped a Dynomax bullet into the middle of the exhaust system, but the RB mufflers still are doing their job.

I thought powdercoating could withstand really high f-ing temps. I could have sworn that exhaust manifolds could be powdercoated no prob.
