okay well i have this old school HKS boost gauge but i cant figure out how you hook it up, i got the light on it to work but i dont know where the other wires go any help?

 

You need the pressure sender for it. Basically its just a map sensor. What does the pin the red wire runs to say?

The map would get its 5vref from the "5v" pin, the output would be the "IN" and the ground goes to the "G" pin.

 

Do you have the sending unit for it?

 

could i possibly wire it up to something else, beside the sending unit since i dont have one?

 

it says IG but i have that hooked up to my ignition, and that turns the light on and what not

 

slang it and try to find a mechanical hks boost gauge

just 2 wires, ground and a illumination wire, than a vacuum line.

 

You need to get one. Worthless without it.

 

FAIL, its all good i actually getting a sending unit tomorrow

 

Then tomorrow it will be worth something.
