The ECU has 3 sizes. small, medium and large.
Look at the wires as it is going to the plug and not the end that
plugs to the ECU.
First the small. The power wire is the first top left. Hook the red
wire to it. Next the medium. Third from the top right is you AFM
signal. *BE CAREFUL HERE* Cut the wire ( don't cut too short from the
ECU. Give room to work with). Your white wire hooks up to the end
going to the AFM and the yellow wire hooks up to the end going to the
ECU. You should solder the ends. The wire to the right, so second
from the top right, is your AFM ground. Hook up the black wire to it.
Now to the large plug. At the bottom left first wire is the Engine
RPM wire. The green wire hook to it. Now you should have just 1 wire
and that's the blue wire. You don't need that. That's for the
RB26DETT (skyline).
Now at the back, you have 8 switches and a dial. The dial is #5
the switches from left to right is (D-down..U-up) d-u-d-d-d-u-d-u
That's it. You're done. When you turn on the ignition to "on" (don't
turn on the engine yet) the lights should light up left to right
through all RPM dials. It's a self test. If all is OK, you're ready
to start the engine.
I will not be liable for any shorts or blown engine. Be careful when
working with any electrical. **DISCONNECT THE GROUND AT THE BATTERY**.
I'll tell you the settings when you tell me what you've done. All
have been tuned on the dyno. Ted is a witness.
