What do you guys do with the old/worn out parts you take off your cars? I have my old/rusted/non-functional exhaust, and am wondering what to do with it. Sure I could just put it in my trash gradually, but I was wondering if anyone had something more constructive. Anyone have experience with scrap yards or some other way to avoid just dumping metal in the landfill?

You can get 50 cents for it at a scrap yard or drop it off at your local recycling yard.
