what a site! i've been reading for 2 days and have been enjoying. bought an '88 gxl non-turbo for my soon to be 16 son. cost was minimum for great looking car. runs well, shifts great, excellent p/u, brakes, cold air, everything works. no 3800 hesitation, no flood problems. i knew of a couple problems going in. shock bellows are completely cracked but shocks still seem ok for now. the detached front bellows creak when you bounce them. also there is a small oil? leak near the oil pan. occasionally drips on exhaus creating smell. i haven't located the exact cause as it has been snowing/sleeting last 2 days - no room in garage. put 300 miles on it thurs thru sat with no noticable diff in level on the stick. i hope to be able to find help here to supplement the manual. keep up great site!!
