Topic says it all! I need to pass emissions, but I want to get a header, if possible. I was also thinkin Bonez high flow cats and some of you might already know, from another post of mine, that I wanna get the Apexi N1 Dual setup. Is it possible to get a header, and remain completely emissions legal?

I seen others mention that they have visual inspections, so a header pipe may be a problem if you do. Here I have to pass, but no visual inspection. I pulled off everything from my turbo manifold (2 pre-cats) and replaced that with a downpipe-- like a header for a non turbo. I did have Random Technologies build me a cat with the air injection port and I retain all underhood emissions equipment. From the cat back, whatever you choose shouldn't matter-- unless you also have some noise regulations.

I did also add a S-AFC which helps me adjust the mixture get it right. It also helps to have a AF gauge just to see if you're even close. This year, I passed on my 3rd try, each time getting closer with my adjustments. Now they're documented, so I should be able to go right back to them when I need to.

Good luck
