Ok what is the real size of the wheel

speaking of FC stock wheel sizes, i was recently in the market for new wheels when i just ended up going for the stock S5 TII wheels. Upon measuring the S4 TII wheels without tires and S5 TII wheels without tires as well, i found that the total width measured up to just 1 knotch shy of 8 inches. While the wheel itself is marked 7JJ, and everyone else including mazda says its only a 7 inch width. Am i measuring the edge of the rim to the other to get the total 7 inch width? or measure the inner side of the rim to get a total of 7. By my tape measure it could deffinatly pass as a 7.5 or even 8. Someone correct me please!

What is the actual width size of the TII wheel?!

^Exactly, since that's where the tire sits.
