Oil under car

Hey everyone, I have a little problem.

I have no idea how, but there seems to be alot of oil running along the frame of the underbody. I regularly check the oil level, and there is no change.

What could it be? I was thinking the transmission or something

All you have to do is taste the oil, just a smiggin, and find out. Serious, you will be able to tell! And you need to clean the frame and underbody, and locate the leak. If it is a lot, something gonna be hurting shortly, YOUR WALLET!

My power steering line just recently sprung a small leak. You could check that.

My front cover also leaks slightly and that would probably uch a slight amount that you wouldnt be able to tell anymore than oil injection use.

You probably don't have the undercover anymore. Any oil that drips is going to get wind sheared across the underbody of your car. I have the same problem.

Did you have your oil changed recently by someone else? If so, they could have spilled oil when removing the oil filter. If that's the case, the amount of errant oil will lessen over time. But to make sure, determine the source of the oil. You know, like take a flashlight and look in the engine compartment and, if necessary, crawl around under the car (be careful) to backtrack the oil to the source.
