Oil sending unit....
not sure what it is but i was wondering if there's any way to check the oil sending system that injects oil into the vehicle, because i'm.... well.... i guess not using as much oil as i should be.... any idea's on what might not be going right...?
i went about 2000km's and barely used 1.3L of oil....
this normal and/or ok?...

they use about 1qt per 1000 miles
if you think there is something wrong, you could always premix.
just dont do as much as people with no OMPs.
i think like 2oz per tank or so would do?!?!? not positive on that

But yes there is also a test proceedure outlined in the FSM and Haynes. Links to the online versions of the FSM can be found in FAQ for FC sticky thread at the top of this section.
And BTW, the Oil sender as you are calling it, is actually called the Metering Oil Pump (or MOP).
