oil seal, rear main seal do not see high psi?

just checking, if rear main seal had 60psi pusshing on it, that thing would fail in no time. also wanted to know if oil controll seals have high pressure going into them

Why would a seal fail cause it had more pressure going to it?
Wouldn't you think the engineers would figure that out and make the seal more robust?

Why are you worried about what psi the oil control o-rings see?
Are you designing new ones?
