future power mods

okay, so i have been searching around trying to get a solid answer abotu my question. so i will ask it to you guys.

i have a stock s4 harness, ecu, and injectors. but i have an S5 engine and turbo. right now i am focusing on suspension, and suspension related stuff (bushings, davedge's rear subframe stuff, and lots of other stuff) right now i want my car to be able to handle better than go faster. but in 3 weeks all of that will be done. and once i am done with this i am goign to move onto power and effiency. i am not looking for anything massive, but something that will be fun, fast, and reliable. i was thinking around 300hp to the wheels.

as of right now the only power mods that i have on my car are; ported wastegate, hks filter, warboro 255 fuel pump, 3" Apexi gt spec pro turbo back, and a RB FCD.

i was first thinking abotu getting some 720 secondaries, but i dont know if i can run those with my stock ecu. i understand that to reach 300 i will need to get some sort of fuel regulator along with a better turbo, and that is where you guys come in biggrin.gif

if i do a standalone, then i will do haltec because they and speed machine are 20 min away. but as far and fuel regulators, and injectors i dont know what to do.

also; if i do plan on doing these mods should i get an s5 ecu and harness to better run with the engine?

i want to do things right the first time, not get something that is just a temporary increase in power. if i do buy somethign i want it to be something that i will use throughout the whole process.

as you can see, i know nothign about power mods. up until this point power has been the last thing on my mind for about 5 years.

If you want to go Haltech then do it, stock ECU wont be enough and reliable so just buy it now. As far as what size injectors here is a link to a script
http://rx7.com/cgi-local/2ndgencalc.cgi

dont try to mix and match S4 and S5v electronics you will be sorry. ALL the plugs are different.

For the turbo I am a fan of Turbonetics ball bearing. you wont need anything huge to achieve those numbers but let me just say you will be satisfied for a limited amount of time with one speed. Just like stereos, loud is only loud for a week, fast is only fast for a week then you get adjusted to it. So buy the bigger turbo and only use 12 to 15 psi to start. I am not saying huge because of the lag just bigger than what you need to get the numbers you are looking for.

This is a problem if you have to rely on the stock oil metering...

3" Apexi gt spec pro turbo back,
Is this something new?
I've never heard of such thing.

No, not 300 at the wheels with just 720's in the secondaries.

I dunno who put the idea that you *need* an FPR, but it's not necessary.
4 x 720 can support 300 at the wheels.
The fuel injector capacity calculator link has been posted.

See above.

Can I ask if English is your primary langauge?
It would help to work a little harder on proper sentence structure...
