Oil Questions

I serched but couldent find any help on this stuff, alright my oil pressure seems fine after 1000 rpms, good 60 some psi but at idle its pretty damn close to 0 this is with a aftermaket gauge. My question is what could cause low oil pressure just at idle? i've done the bypass valve mod so i know its not that. a nother question is, i've removed my purge control valve what do i do with the to lines comeing from the oil filler neck? could leaving these lines open cause the low oil pressure?

stock gauges are ****. can't always trust them. grab an aftermarket oil pres. gauge and see the difference
