oil problem still

well i fixed my omp leak only to find that i have a bigger problem the oil pan gasket is bad and i tell you it is embarrasing when you pull up to an intersection and all you see when you look over at the other car and all you see is smoke from you car , i feel like marty mcfly getting out of the time machine when it is full of smoke!!! the car actually allows smoke to get through the shift boot annoying , anyway the ? is how hard is it to replace that and do you think that would be the only problem?

If you're smoking that bad, it may be something other than the pan gasket, unless it's leaking so bad that airflow dynamics are causing the seep to hit the exhaust manifold.

Get her in the air, clean her up real good, and look at the spots notorious for leaking, such as the oil cooler hoses, oil filter pedestal, etc...

It is the gasket because the oil does hit the exaust it goes about 2 feet back on the exaust
