Oil Pressure Rises, along with Car lighting going bright and dim

On start up my oil pressure is around 45 to 50 in lbs the normal. As soon as i start driving the car starts to bog down the oil pressure rises. The headlights start to bright and dim simutaniously with the dash lighting.

Ive changed the oil filter and oil. Adjusted my alternator belt. Checked my fuses. Not sure what else i should do so any help is good help. Thx

Check the main battery connections (positive and ground, and the ground at the shock tower) to make sure they are tight and in good condition.

Could be that your alternator isn't working proper either. What does your voltage say? Also, what all do you have on? Lights, heat, radio, bigass sub, etc?

I'll buy into that. I had a alternator with a bad voltage regulator, and the symptoms were similar to this thread. The voltage would rise and fall. It'd go to 15 plus, subside to the 14's and cycle like that along with the headlights/dashlights dimming and then getting brighter.

Make sure the small plug is on the alternator along with the things mentioned above, but to me it sounds like a cooked alternator regulator.
