Oil Pressure gauge = no work
The stock oil pressure gauge in the gauge cluster stopped working after I removed my MOP (metering oil pump) and blocked it off... what could i have done that would cause the gauge to stop working? is there a plug or line under the UIM that i could've unplugged and forgot to plug back in? any help is appreciated, thx
sorry I can't post a picture for ya, but ya, it's the cylindrical thing sticking out the left side of the engine, below the oil filter. check the one-wire connector for security (maybe clean it while you're at it)

The guage gets a signal from the pressure sensor, located on the rear driver side of the motor just below the filter. Check that connection. You should see a silver mushroom shaped thing with a small tab on the top. The wire connects to the tab.
always depend on you to post the pics, NZConvertible, you New Zealanders are good guys, at least the professor of zoology at New Zealand University was nice when he ran his rental car into mine at the airport here:/. is your wisdom tapped out on my '88's lack of power prob?
