Exclamation oil preasure in turbo fc's question

on my new fc my oil pressure gauge is never going over the first bar, motor is extremely powerful, is this normal? i thought at first it was because the temp gauge is off and on the greddy gauge and it turned off the oil one to but i saw it move up to the first bar today. oil stick shows lil over full

That pressure gauge is hardly accurate. I suggest going aftermarket. Sometimes it helps to clean the connection on the gold mushroom looking sender.

Oil level is not related to oil pressure unless you are more than 2 quarts low on oil.

If you are unsure of oil pressure, you need to check it with an aftermarket sensor and meter.

if its any, my car has low oil pressure and i dont use the stock gauge.

turns out anything above a certain psi is good. this is a really low number like 5 or 6 something. The stock sender is just a 5 psi cut off switch. or something like that.

well in an ideal world, you would want 10 psi for every 1000 rpm. If you are not getting that, then you are using the wrong oil or filter or have some other issue.

never knew that. Like everyone has said, i would verify with an aftermarket gauge so that you don't do any damage.
