Oil-P gauge wierdness.

I had my instrument cluster out last summer to fix a bad speedometer cable. While I was at it I got a new screw for the voltimeter since it wasn't working either (the screw was just missing... go figure.) After putting everything back together the oil pressure guage sits below the zero mark when off and when running always reads lower then it should and moves a little sluggish compared to before.

I've haven't been too worried about it since my oil system is in good shape and I just have to remember that the increment is off by the initial misadjustment but it still bugs the crap out of me. I figure I must've knocked or bent something when investigating the voltimeter problem.

I took the dash apart again today to dig something out of there that was rattling around (just a socket that fell back there somehow) and to polish the clear plastic face. I pulled the guage completely out and am trying to figure out how I can reset it but have no idea at this point. I could bend the metal element but I don't know how that would effect it's function.

Got 'er fixed it by using a pliers to grab the shaft the dial spins on and gently turned the dial on the shaft until it lined up again. Now it reads like it should.
