Oil Metering Pump Lines Best Options?

I need to replace all four oil metering lines on my 86 FC and I can’t find them really for under $100. Is it normal for these to be so expensive? If so, would it be better for me to delete the metering pump and mix two stroke oil?

100$ is cheap. Enjoy owning and restoring your Mazda.

You can make your own using high temperature PTFE clear tubing. Instructions are here: OMP lines - how to fix them properly for stuff all. - AusRotary

But brand new OEM ones are not expensive and they are precut to length with all the bends in the right places already.

I think it’s better to delete the omp and run premix. I do believe there is more uniform wear across the width of the rotor housing if you use premix.

been presiding since I swapped in a t2 motor.

Having made my own lines, $100 for the perfectly fitting OEM lines is a bargain. No messing with tubing, crimping it in place, snaking them trough everything.

As for premix, on a stock or nearly stock vehicle, no. Really want the hassle of carrying around a jug of 2 stroke oil and adding it every fill-up?
