cant find it any were and this picture of my FSM is wrong, i dont have a hole for it there!!! thanks for the quickness!!!

It better have one on the drivers side of the oil pan almost dead center. It's held in with 3 bolts.

not that one, the sensor that holds it self on it is its own bolt with a one wire connector coming off of it.

Ah, that is the oil thermo sensor for the useless cold start assist system found on early S4 cars. I think it was eliminated by 88, because it didn't work. Not having one will not affect the car in any way.
