Angry Oil Level Light??

So My 88 for some reason starts screaming at me to check the oil. So i do and its brand new oil and is sparkly clean and plenty of it. Also this car has a brand new motor and is having the dreaded 3700 rpm bogging issues with the turbo. So I am taking it in tomorrow to get a diagnostic check. Anyone have the same problems? Also is there a way to disable the buzzer, i like the lights but the buzzer makes me want to jump on it with a chainsaw and dig it out.

You sure it's the OIL LOW light and not the LOW COOLANT light?

First of all....do NOT disable it lol...its buzzing because something is wrong!

I had the same experience last year...wouldnt turn off, oil and coolant levels were full. What I found was the wire that connects to the oil pan had come loose. If I remember its on the driver's side. You dont need to jack up the car, just get on your back and look for it.

That was going to be my suggestion. If it's full, the only logical thing is the sensor is loose/bad.

Took it to a shop today to have a diagnostic run and looked at. They said that everything was fine and that the sensor was bad. Looks like i gotta fork out about $150 max to get a new sensor and the part takes about a week to get in. Thanks for the help guys.
