It all started out when i put on my header, and a stud broke and would not come out for notting, ended up drilling it out and replaced it with a bolt, it was the stud close's to the oil pump, this bolt came lose, and I drove around with a bad exhaust leak for about a week. When I went to tighten up the bolt, I notice alot of oil leaking from the oil pump, that was not there before, could of some way the hot exhaust gases dry up the gasket or some thing to make it start to leak??? I think the oil pump is working,because I get 50psi of oil pressure at 3000rpm, or should i be getting 60psi of oil pressure??? Any help would be appreciated..

Hey man, I dont know what the problem is but i'll be happy to help ya fix it. Maybe I can get some help w/ my new motor :-D, I blew mine on sat . BTW--im the dude u met up at westhimer a few weeks ago with the red t2.

 

Thats sucks that you blew your motor, how many mile's did you have on the motor? Do you have a shop to work at?? I have a shop, it's in conroe tx thro, that's where my car is right now... I'll help you out, just let me know what weeken you want to do this, did you get a j-spec engine? I start college monday, next weekend i'm planing on fixing my 7. I can't live without her anymore, haven't drove her in about a 3 week's. If you want to help, you can come if you want..
