Oil Leak From Pedastil

Oil Leak From Pedastil

When the car is running and directly after there is some oil leaking from the pedastil where the oil filter is... Is there a gasket for this or what....

Two small o'rings. Remove the filter. Remove the two 10mm wrench size nuts on the bottom of the base. Remove and replace the two o'rings that you bought prior to removing the pedestal. Piece of cake.

yeah, I ordered them from the Mazda dealership, couple of bucks.. about a week for it to come into the dealer for pickup.. just need to get a chance to put them on..

then I've got to think about the Metering Oil Pump o-ring issues I have..

Sweet sorry for the dumb question, i had never had a leak up there before, the motor I put in my 85 gsl is leaking from there. (87 se 13b 6 port) retainied efi...

ref the pic! As for the p/n of the Orings is does not state. It does ref D-Code 19-870J but no p/n#. Anybody have it? I called the local Mazda dealer and they cant find it.

i had the same problem... i fixed it with HYLOMAR. the **** works great. just in case those o-rings fail.
