Oil leak??

I've searched and only found different oil leaks i have a rebuilt t2 s5 motor. rats nest remove everything else is stock. It leaks on drivers side it comes from middle iron housing where the oil neck is. Theres a little thing there where im think a hose is missing because its driping oil out.

Sounds like oil is dripping from the purge nipple. Look up "purge system" or "PCV system" in the FSM (link in FAQ to download).

yes... but in doing so it releases an oil mist. Is it supposed to spew a stream of oil? NO, is it possible for oil to be leaking out? yes

You need to run a hose to the purge valve as per the FSM diagram. The big nipple on the purge valve connects to the upper nipple on the oil filler neck. The nipple on the center iron leads to a firewall pipe.
