Unhappy Oil filler neck stuck! Help!!!

I'm all ready to put my new rebuilt motor into my car, and I can't get the oil filler neck out of the old intermediate housing, let alone back into the new motor . How do you get that damned thing out of there?! I've tried liquid wrench, broke a screwdriver, tried to twist it with a strap wrench (it slips)... ?!

Help!

Thanks!!!
Andrew

If you have a small propane torch try heat the housing where the neck goes into it. Try not to heat the neck up though. The object is to expand the housing some. I have seen some that were so seized you could not get one out.
Be sure to try to tap neck out as quickly as possible once you heat the cast.

If you really get in a bind on this and can't come up with one I will pull one out for $5 plus shipping. It's too big a pain in the buttocks not to at least charge something, but I have probably 10 plates so one ought to come out easy enough for me.
