Oil filler neck question.

Oil filler neck question.

Can i unscrew the oil filler neck on my n/a and attach one from a tii. i goota move its location due to the fact that i'm using tii intake manifolds so yeah . . .

The oil filler neck is pressed into the iron.

Get a rubber mallet or deadblow or something similar, and keep smacking it until it starts to get loose. After that you should be able to pull it straight out.

In my experience, though, they never quite fit the same after doing that, might have to use something to help hold it in if you have problems.

yeah the filler neck on my old TII was always loose. i actually had to ziptie it from swinging during hard turns :x

Clean the filler tube and surrounding area really good with solvent and use silicone on it. I've never had a problem with it after a rebuild.
