oil cooler

okay, so im trying to hook a line on my oil cooler, i believe it is the return. its on the same side as the spark plugs just past them anyways, the bolt that it goes onto, threads in fine. however, when i put the bolt through the line and then try to screw it in, it wont thread blink.gif its so confusing. maybe its because the line is metal and hard to manuever but im not sure. can anyone help me out?

I had a similar problem when replacing mine. I found out (after about 1 hr) that it needs to be perfectly aligned. The fact that the hose is new and stiff didn't help. Keep at it and don't get frustrated. Perhaps if you hook that side first and then the oil cooler side it would make it easier.

Yep, disconnect the cooler then you should have enough slack to line up the line

I had the same problem, just a really stiff line. Luckily it seemed difficult to cross-thread the big bolt.
