Question Oil coming out from main pulley at higher rpms?

so not sure exactly what might be causing this, but there is oil from out from the main pulley, seems like behind at higher rpms. it flings in a 360 degree ring around the engine bay. what the hell could be causing that? something with thermowax pellet perhaps? ideas? im kinda worried.

Is the bolt coming loose? They also have a copper washer behind them along with threadlocker.

If the pulley has been removed recently, you may have to replace that copper crush washer.

That bolt also has a rubber o-ring at the "tip".
It requires some kinda threadlocker in addition to the copper crush washer.

Its probably a loose bolt. Remember to replace the copper washer and while you are there remove that thermal pellet and put in one of those bypass jobbers.

Also, what type of oil are you using? Just curious if you use either Pennzoil or Quacker State which according to self proclaimed tribologists on this website ain't no good :=)

PS Make sure you take into account known problems with T-bearing slipping and getting crushed when you retighten the main pully bolt.
