You can also run the second vent on the can back into the intake pre-turbo. That will create a suction on the crankcase to prevent pressurization.
Anybody have a link to a cheap catch can? I've been using a radiator overflow bottle with a breather filter installed on it... :P

a vac source would be idea but open atmosphere works too.
having it suck back into the intake can cause some icky intake piping and make it harder to diagnose a blown turbo down the road.

vapors from where? its just to vent the system, the oil sys creates its own pressure, you are just venting them to the atmosphere instead of sucking them back into the intake. i just noticed you already have the can so what will said sounds right to me. one from filler neck, one from intermediate iron both to catch can...
Because then you get kicked off the track if you spit anything out, or won't be allowed to run for not passing tech inspection. Some guys run that way on the street, but then again, why would we want to be oiling the ground?
that makes sense^ but nobody said a word about track, i wasn't saying this is the only way to go. it doen't "spit" anything visible out, they are vapors. Like Oil vapors are the worst thing coming from your rx7? it was just a damn suggestion, rhetorrical question if you will. I have a hard time beleiving that you are an environmentalist worried about oil vapors on the road.

I have the problem myself due to high boost. The compression is great and shouldn't have blowby issues. It is a problem for anyone tracking them or making power significant over stock.
