offset on rims

offset on rims

Want to put some 245-50-16 on the rear and maybe 225-50-16 0n the front.Need to know what size rim width to get and what offset.

Are you talking about a 2nd gen? +30-35 mm in the front with 16x7 or 16x7.5 should work ok. 16x8 should also work. In the rear you could go with a 16x8 with maybe +30-40 mm.

I used to run 16x7, +32 mm front and rear with 225/50/16's.

I now have 18x8, +30 mm front with 225/40/18 and 18x9, +30 mm rear with 275/35/18.

this will not fit without some modification to the strut and at least a 16x8 wheel, 16x9 would be best. I think the tire would be 245/45/16 also not 50 series. I use these tires on my track car and I use the 300zx turbo rear wheel offset 43mm I believe, but I had to custom build a set of strut tubes to gain clearance for the tires as well as rolling the fender lips. with the stock suspension it just won't fit
