Rated mine at an 8. Very nice condition, with the exception of a couple of small door dings.

87' Turbo II

pros: NO rust, no body damage, paint is in good condition, mechanically sound, new clutch, new stock exhaust, clean interior, crack free dash/ idoit light surround, no rattles, 23 mpg highway, handles like a dream,

cons: riding on gxl wheels (one 195's) atm (need to find wheels for my 16" tires or tires for my 17" wheels lol) Has ABS that makes strange sounds occasionally, Injectors need cleaning, has sunroof, no radio no A/C

When I got her:

3/10 Missing trim on passenger side door, dent/bondo spot on pass door, passenger fender has a big *** dent in it, cracked turn signal lens, tail lights aren't flush, paint is badly oxidized and fading, little bit of petina on drivers side quarter panel, mismatched(black) TII hood, red interior(or what's left of it), seats cracked and stained, carpets stained and on thier way out, no stereo, speaker under glove box is chilling on the floor, red porno lights don't work anymore, missing visors, no shift boot, drivers side door handle broken, drivers side door panel not on, shifter really loose, had rear seats those are gone now, sunroof motor is going out, fuel and alternator gauges don't work, no a/c, OMP leak, I think there is a slowly leaking injector(if I don't run it for a week or two it floods), I still need to run a compression test and see how I'm doing there, running on phone dials(would be better if tires were wider and I had 4-piston calipers) 4-lug umm I think that's it. Well I have a lot of work ahead of me but I won't mind once I get some income going again.

New carpets & seats would bump it up a notch or 2... There's 160k on the original engine, & It'll hold idle around 600 rpm, w/ the AC on, during a hot summer day...

I'm itchin for a TII, but this chassis is so clean, I'm probably just gonna deal w/ a TII + MT swap...

This idea could work with a "rate the 7 above you" thread...hmm, I might make it.

cool_as_crap, the rust spots are tiny!!! You have no idea what Quebec roads and winters are like! The car was winter driven for only 2 years. Bring your fc up here and see how long it takes before it rusts .

I can't post pics since photobucket is blocked at work, but they're in the picture thread in the stickies.

I give my TII a 7/10 Because I have dents near my sunroof area, which aren't noticible unless you really pay attention. I also have a minor dent in the rear which also isn't noticible, but it's enough to prohibit me from using a license plate tailight piece.

The radiator supports were cut poorly by the Prev. owner so I have to fix that.
The air temp sensor on my microtech always reads wrong.
The car is not tuned currently and running stock boost; it gets 10-12mpg.
The car sits slightly higher in the front because of different springs, soon to be fixed with coilovers.

The Good:
-Rust non-existent
-No ABS
-Manual rack
-Ohlins suspension
-Racing Beat turboback
-Paint is decently good, maybe 8.5-9/10
-I like my wheels =) SSR Reverse Mesh 16x7, 16x8
-Tranny shifts fine, even in hard driving. Except 5th; it grinds.
-All underbody drivetrain/subframe components in good condition, most bushings have been replaced.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with the car, it's a great performer, and will be even better with the new suspension setup. I also have 70% of the black s5 body parts needed to do the series swap, to complement the engine =)

I put an 8 for mine. I need to rebuild my engine, but other than that I have fresh paint, new wheels/tires, no rips/broken plastic in the interior, and everything except for the rear wiper works flawlessly. Adjustable coilovers, camber kit, etc.

*edit* judging by others' responses, I might rate mine a 9 since there's no rust/tears/broken anything either...

I'd give mine a 9. Tear in drivers side bolster from stupid checkbook, rock chips in the paint even using a nose bra, spoiler paint chipped from loading tools and tires for events, lip scuffed up in a few places from the usual, some rust (underneath and taken care of) from PO living up north... Nothing major wrong, just the usual dings and stuff exterior wise. Car runs great, handles great, uses gas and oil. Pics can be found in too many places.

I dumped over 10k turning it into the shape it was when it came out of the stealership. I've run out of things to fix - got myself a turbovertible project car now

i rate mine a 5/10

the body looks alright but if you look at the underbody then its considered a rust bucket.
and its got tons of problems and its taking all my money, its at the point right now where things are starting to go bad due to age. and once one thing starts to go everything else starts to go with it.

but its a tii and i cant wait to get it running (hopefully by this weekend)
and im really really hoping that it runs good for a while because im all out of money
and college is starting soon

I gave mine a 4/10 because I an rebuilding the engine right noe and redoing the inside so it is just a shell right now. But there is not rust and it has only 74,002 miles on it. Also it was a base model but it has power everything now.

I gave mine a 4/10. No rust, origional paint is good but clear is peeling on the roof. Its na with 106k. Needs a trans(it grinds if shifted fast and has a bad input bearing. Seats have been recovered but drivers side has small tear. Needs deminister vent, defrost vents, stereo surround, Idiot cluster(clocks broke), Idiot cluster molding and FTP lenses. Some small dents and warn out shocks.

It will soon be a 6/10 after I install the RB swaybars, camber link, drop end links, Mazdatrix front strutbar with engine dampener and firewall brace and rear strutbar.

Body 6/10 need to repaint my drivers fender, and compound some funky clear coat off. other than that it's fairly dent free, no rust, and shiny after a good waxing.

Interior: 8/10 I cleaned mine up really good using a foamy carpet cleaner, cleaned up many wires, nice "new" leather shift boot and ****.

Engine: 0/10 I blew it up, so it doesn't run. I even pulled it out so I really have to give myself a 0
