Oem Rear control arm metal sleeves (Searched) PICS

I am trying to install the energy suspension bushings and this is becoming a pain in the $#@. The bushings press in all the way flush but when the inner sleeve is pressed in they come out about 1/4" - 1/2" out.

are the factory sleeves still in i cant tell? im wondering if this is the problem.

There should be a rubber collar around the OEM rubber bushings. If not, they are still inside the trailing arm and it looks like they are still in there.

I did the same stupid thing, yeah the OEM metal sleeves are still in there. Once their out the bushings go in nice without any issues.

you gotta drive those metal sleeves out. You will need a flat head round punch, try not to scar the inside of the control arm race.

You should be able to almost hand press in those bushings.
