OEM hood latch --> CF T2 hood?

I've been reading for the past hour on the CF T2 hood from fc3s.org, some topics have said different things. Can the OEM hood latch from my steel N/A hood bolt right up to their carbon fiber T2 hood without modification/cutting? Or must I use hood pins and hood pins only? Obviously I plan on buying the turbo 2 carbon fiber hood from fc3s.org next week, to replace my 88 N/As hood, but I'd really like to use the hood latch with it, drilling holes for hood pins is something I'd surely screw up.

Shoot and while we're on the topic, the hood fits right up to the side latches also right (the latch thingies that holds the hood up on the sides of the engine bay)? Are the latch holes pre-drilled or is it DIY on arrival?

The hood is a drop in replacement.

The latch is molded into the under frame of the new hood.
The latch is metal on it.

The rear mounts have metal tapped holes on them and it comes with scrwes and washers to put it on.

I put mine on in 10 minutes.

I've had the hood on for about a month or so now and i don't think it will need hood pins. It does have a slight shake/lift on the highway but it is on securely.

Here are some pics of it.

the hood is ready to go from dave, you will need to get a alum latch so it will work properly, i run my n/a cf hood with only the latch and no hood pins and it has held to 130+

The stock latch works perfect. If u want pins that your decision.
