OEM Fuel Injectors & Pulsation Dampers

I called Mazda and they are ofering me 4 injectors isn't he supposed to sell me 2 i primary and secondary injectors? also are AFTERMARKET Injectors recommened or OEM? Also "Pulsation Damper" do those come AFTERMARKET too as well? with the Rail? the injectors pair of 4 are $263.90 and the Pulsation Damper W/rail for $252.90 .. the reason im asking is that my TII is not starting at all. its got a new Battery 7months old, and the Battery cables aren't correded, but i do get a heavy smell of gasoline from the engine bay, so i figure its my damper or the injectors.

Primaries and secondaries are exactly the same injectors.

Yes, there are aftermarket pulsation dampers available that can be fitted. You can get your model S5 TII PD's with rails at mazdatrix for only $210.

Why not test the injectors? I doubt all 4 failed.

Injectors rarely need replacing, so don't waste your money. Have them serviced instead and they'll be like new.

Rebuilding injectors will be 22-25 each. I have had it done at a injector shop buy my house. Mazda injectors rarely die, unlike very weak Nissan injectors that FLAT OUT DIE and you have to spend $700 on six new ones becuase the other 5 are about to die! Damn cheap *** 300zx injectors.... still pissed about that. *rant over*

The PD.... I wouldn't waset my money on a new one. I did that once already and it failed in less than a year, yes a bran new one form mazdatrix. *new rant* SO F'n mad about that. I just banjo bolted it after that and everything has been golden.

12 bux each is a hell of good price.... you give a bench flow sheet with that like i got from Marren??

Anyway.... The spec sheet on my injectors came back with the primaries flowing at 33% capacity on the one and 45% on the other on initial bench tests and 100% for both after........ they weren't dead... just neaded serviced after 15 years of use!!!!!

You need to do more troubleshooting.
It's not the fuel injectors or pulsation damper that's causing your problems.
