OE FOG LIGHTS need help bad im stumped

ok my 89 gtu never had fogs. from the factory, no fogs.

SO what i did was i got a pair of stock fogs with brackets and wiring from a member on here.

then i went to the junkyard and got the switch (that goes next to the alarm light)

my car HAS the plugs for the fog lights, and the switch plugged in just fine, but they dont turn on even with the low beams on... is there something else i have to do? if i give the lights direct power from the battery they light up no problem. am i missing something here? the fuse is in and is fine

thanks

You are missing the realy!

If you stand in front of the car while the hood is open, the coolant overflow tank will be to tje left, front of you. Perpendicular to it, to the right, there will be three or four relays (can't remeber the right amount), bolted to a piece of metal of the body shell, there sould be an unused plug, that's the fog light relay

You got me there, I used a bosch 5 pin relay; however I believe they are all different (the plug that is). On my 91, the foq light relay plug was green.
