ok check it out.. i may just be paranoid but ever since the hard rain fall yesterday my car has been making squeaking sounds. and its comming from the back wheels. i dont think its the brakes cuz they dont squeak when i use them. just at low speeds and predominantly when before i get on the freeway.

 

record the sound if you can, then let people listen. it could be brakes, it could be suspension, it could be some arbitrary piece of plastic rubbing somewhere.

btw moisture or ANY rust can sometimes make brakes squeak, especially when pressure is not applied.

I had a squeaking sound at low speed
Checked the rear struts and moved the springs a little and it stopped.

Does it happen when you engine brake? or coasting?

 

Yeah it could be the springs or something with the hatch. My rear end squeaks, it's probably my springs, I just don't care. It doesn't hurt anything functionally. But it never hurts to verify.
